Our history and mission

The City Institute of Health and Allied Sciences was established with a clear and vital mission: to address the growing demand for competent medical and allied health professionals in Tanzania.

Recognizing the need for quality health education in the Ilala district, our founders built a state-of-the-art campus in Chanika. We began by offering core diploma programs designed to meet the strict healthcare standards set by the Tanzanian government.
